product can often be stored at room temperature from 21°C
/70°F to 28°C /82°F. However, to allow for optimal ease of use, it
is best to store in a cool place
(15°C /59°F to 22°C /72°F), in the refrigerator
or freezer prior to use. This is especially important when this
product is used as a suppository (See Directions).
If the materials in the shell
liquefy/melt during shipping, remove the shells from the packaging, shake/agitate
the strips and then place in the freezer
until the product in the shell hardens (10-15 minutes). Although the re-hardened material in the
shell may be slightly misshapen, the softening, shaking and cooling of the suppository
in no way alters the effectiveness of the active ingredients or
overall product delivery into the body.
Note*** Reduced Glutathione (rGSH) is the bioactive form of glutathione and the only effective form (see discussion). Prior to the development of the rectal suppository the only other effective forms of Reduced Glutathione (rGSH) occurred as intramuscular injections, nebulized (inhaled mist) and intravenous Infusions.
The Zetpil™ Reduced Glutathione with TMG & Orotates suppository is simply put, an amazing product. The bioactive reduced form of Glutathione is considered to be the most powerful, most versatile and most important of the body’s self generated antioxidants that is found in almost all living cells. It is also considered
to be one of the most powerful anticancer agents manufactured by the body. Reduced Glutathione (rGSH) works as a detoxification, or chelating, agent which works to remove heavy metals and other common toxins that our bodies are exposed to on a regular basis. It is also used to aid in treatment of liver disease, ulcers and neurological conditions, as well as to assist in overall immune function. The Zetpil™ Reduced Glutathione with TMG & Orotates suppository when combine with bound orotic acid and trimethylglycine aid the body in neutralizing
free radicals and prevent their formation, while protecting valuable proteins.
Among Reduced Glutathione’s (rGSH) many important properties are:
- Is found in almost all living cells. The liver, spleen, kidneys, pancreas, and the lens and cornea, have the highest concentrations in the body.
- It is a MOST POWERFUL ANTIOXIDANT and thus neutralizes free radicals and prevents their formation.
- Reduced Glutathione is involved in maintaining normal brain function.
- Diabetes mellitus: Especially in ketosis as DM patients will generally excrete increased amounts of sulfur containing amino acids.
- Immune enhancement: 1-3 g per day. This is especially effective against clostridium in the GI. It helps prevent translocation.
- Effective adjunct for Psoriasis.
- Liver disease including cirrhosis and fatty liver disease caused by alcohol.
- Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer’s Disease, ALS (Lou Gherig’s disease), Multiple Sclerosis and other neurologic conditions including Autism/Pervasive Developmental Delay and Chronic Kidney Failure.
- Ulcers intestinal or stomach: In patients with stomach ulcers low levels of GSH have been found.
- Aspirin or phenacetin overdose (useful for rheumatoid arthritis patients or chronic pain sufferers on 8 or more aspirin/day).
- Hematological conditions: myelofibrosis, acute leukemia, chronic myelocytic leukemia, lymphoma, polycythemia vera.
- Before radiation therapy.
- Important role in immune function via white blood cell production and is one of the most potent
anti-viral agents known.
- It is one of the strongest anti-cancer agents manufactured by the body.
- It is used by the liver to detoxify toxins including formaldehyde, acetaminophen, benzpyrene
and many other compounds.
- It is an antioxidant necessary for the protection of proteins; is involved in nucleic acid synthesis and plays a role in DNA repair, It maintains the cellular redox potential
- Reduced Glutathione levels decrease with age. It is involved in cellular differentiation and
slows the aging process.
- Protects the integrity of red blood cells.
Therapeutically, Reduced Glutathione (rGSH) is used for:
-Heavy metal toxicity including mercury, lead, arsenic and cadmium:
-Common toxins that Reduced Glutathione may help protect against car exhaust,
cigarette smoke, aspirin and alcohol (Marz, p. 78, 1997)
-Pesticide and industrial chemical exposure
-Bacterial toxins (Clostridia difficile)
-Pharmaceuticals that affect the liver) (Marz, p. 79, 1997)
Although many have touted the benefits of this product, it was sold in an oral form to those who required the potential benefits of elevation the intracellular levels of Glutathione with reduced glutathione. However, what was not revealed by those who chose to sell reduced glutathione or glutathione (the totally ineffective form)
was that ORAL FORMS OF REDUCED GLUTATHIONE OR GLUTATHIONE SUPPLEMENTS DO NOT RAISE TISSUE LEVELS OF BIOACTIVE FORM OF CELLULAR GLUTATHIONE AND ARE INEFFECTIVE. Although some might argue that the orals might be effective, the effective therapeutic dosage levels of the reduced glutathione (the only effective form) required costly dosages of 3000 mgs with a very small possibility of being effective. The reason the oral form of reduced glutathione is ineffective is because when ingested orally reduced glutathione (rGSH) undergoes hydrolysis by intestinal and hepatic (liver) alpha glutamyltransferase that that renders the reduced glutathione ineffective Hagen TM, Wierzbicka GT, Sillau AH, et al. Bioavailability of dietary glutathione: effect on plasma concentrations. Am J Physiol 1990;259:G524-529.
It must be emphasized that Glutathione (not reduced) has no clinical use and although some would have you believe that the reduced form and the unreduced form are one in the same, the misrepresentation of non-reduced Glutathione as an effective form appears to be either the result of a lack of scientific knowledge or a purposeful attempt to deceive a patient population looking for help.
However, the development of the Zetpil™ Reduced Glutathione with TMG & Orotates suppository in combination with Zetpil™ ‘s proprietary base, is a scientifically sound mode of delivery and is clearly offers an alternative means to raise the reduced glutathione levels to effectively act as an antioxidant other than by intramuscular injections, nebulized (nasal mist) or by intravenous administration of reduced glutathione. Unfortunately these forms are either uncomfortable (daily intramuscular injections) or costly intravenous therapy.
Therefore when one considers that the Zetpil™ Reduced Glutathione with TMG & Orotates suppository is effective means of delivering the body’s most powerful antioxidant in a cost effective form that can be taken indefinitely, this breakthrough form of delivering Reduced Glutathione raises the bar in effective antioxidant therapy for the patient population who desire an effective, affordable and potent solution at a fraction of the
cost of current effective means of delivering this important product.
